Omar Intelligence has developed a “Human-Ground-Air Integrated” full-scene monitoring solution in response to the challenges of fugitive emission scenarios in the chemical industry. This solution encompasses personal handheld devices, professional portable equipment, and mobile inspection systems, providing precise coverage of key scenarios such as daily patrol inspections, LDAR periodic detection, production unit area monitoring, and plant boundary/exit point monitoring.

Traditional inspection faces three major challenges: high missed detection rates with visual checks, PID detectors that only provide qualitative (not quantitative) results, and traditional FID analyzers that are heavy and difficult to operate.
Our M2 is designed precisely to solve these problems:
Unbelievably Light: At only 0.9 kg, it is over 300% lighter than traditional FIDs. It can be held and operated with one hand, eliminating the need to carry heavy equipment during patrols.
Precise and Compliant: With a range of 0-50,000 ppm and ppb-level precision, its data fully complies with national standards. It serves as reliable evidence for compliance in both daily inspections and LDAR detection.
Safe and Durable: It replaces high-pressure hydrogen cylinders with low-pressure solid-state hydrogen storage technology, ensuring intrinsic safety. It operates stably in harsh environments from -20°C to 60°C—withstanding winters in Northeast China and summers in southern plant sites. In practice, it enables real-time leakage risk warnings to prevent fires and explosions, delivers immediate test results, quickly locates leak points, and reduces hazard investigation time by over half.
Infrared Imaging Leak Detector: Rapid “Visual” Scanning
Facing dense networks of equipment and pipelines, point-by-point inspection is too time-consuming. The core advantage of this infrared imaging leak detector is “large-area screening + visual localization”:
Non-contact Operation over Distance: It can detect leaks from as close as 0.2 meters to as far as 100 meters, keeping personnel safe by avoiding proximity to high-temperature or high-pressure equipment.
Visual Leak Detection via Thermal Maps: Infrared thermal images visually show leakage locations, eliminating reliance on “smell” or “touch.” It easily identifies leaks in concealed pipeline connections with a single scan.
Upgradable with Modules: It can be equipped with ranging modules, laser methane detection modules, and offers multiple gas enhancement modes to adapt to various scenarios.
Together, these two devices form a seamless “Screening-Confirmation” workflow:
First, use the Infrared Imaging Leak Detector for “scanning”: It can cover the equipment and pipelines of an entire workshop in about 10 minutes, quickly identifying potential leakage areas.
Then, use the M2 Handheld FID for “pinpointing”: Aim it at suspicious areas to accurately measure leak concentration, determine if it exceeds limits, and decide whether immediate repair is needed.
Both devices feature high explosion-proof and ingress protection ratings, ensuring safe operation in high-risk environments such as chemical and petrochemical plants.
